Summer Semester 2009 Classes begin the week of June 8, 2009 to July 15, 2009
Welding to Certification
Monday and Wednesday nights
Certified welders are always in demand and are on jobs longer because of the added skills. Almost all-welding jobs require certification. Without certified welders, our union will forfeit jobs to other trades or non-union workers.
The welding classes are open entry and open exit, allowing each student to go at their own pace. The classes train you to pass the written and practical test for the Los Angeles City Structural and Light Gauge Certification and the International Training Institute/ AWS Certification.
All Los Angeles City certification fees will be paid by the J.A.T.C. upon presentation of the certificate. It is the JATC’s goal to certify every welder and to maintain the edge in training. Our “on call” welding inspector will provide prompt testing.
