Eddie Montes
Biography:
Eddie began his sheet metal career in 1960 by entering the apprenticeship program at the Los Angeles JATC. Upon graduation, he worked in the trade for several of our signatory contractors. While working with the tools, Eddie served the Local Union by being elected as Warden, Executive Board member and Vice President. He was elected as a Business Representative in 1986 and has worked in that capacity since that time. He covers the South Bay area and parts of Long Beach. Eddie has the most tenure of any of our current Local Union 105 officers. He has been a Business Representative for seventeen years.
Eddie served on many committees for the Local Union, the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee and the Trust Funds. Some of these committees are listed below:
